Set in the historic centre of Batumi at 43 Z. Gamsakhurdia St, this signature shop-museum — founded by Vladimer Danelia in 1907 — is the oldest wine shop still trading in Georgia.
It is a singular space where past and present meet. Authentic museum exhibits from 1907–1921 are preserved here, while visitors and travellers are welcome to taste Danelia's Wine entirely free of charge.
A mark of recognition: for its outstanding contribution to tourism, in 2025 Danelia's Old Wine House was honoured with the Adjara Tourism Department's special prize — “Magnolia 2025”.
The brand's unique historical materials are also on display at the Adjara State Museum and the Nobel Brothers Batumi Technological Museum; and its signature labels from 1907–1921 are included in the official “Catalogue of Georgian Wine Labels”.
